Can somebody recommend to me a suitably hard to play LLM team in Russia or Ukraine?

Easy. Nearly all of them will be kinda tough

A tough choice would be for example Terek Grozny - you should have more than one insurance for your players just in the case they get shot in the civil war.

Thanks. Actually, anothe thread here has all the teams listed so, for Russia, I will chose one that has awful facilities, 0 cash and has to "battle bravely".

In the case of Ukraine, I am not that brave, all of them seem to have massive debts. I'll start with Russia first - probably Ural Ekaterinburg.

Terek seem to have the Ukrainian disease - big debts. Tempting. I'll have to think about that.

I think the Ukrainian league should be a little easier in the long run if you ever manage to break into the phalanx of the big teams Dinamo and Shaktar. They usually do well in Europe and can attract good talent, unlike Russian teams where Spartak and Lok are decent IRL but never go anywhere in CM4.

Of course it may be excruciatingly difficult to ever get that far with all these debts, but at least the potential is there.

Well, talking about Russian LLM (if it's possible) i guess you should pick from Kristall (Smolensk?), Ural (Ekaterinburg?), Volgar-Gazprom and Lada (Togliatti?). These four are bottoming the RD1 table right now with Lada being absoulute outsider.
