Well, another stupid question from Russian commie-bloke
LLM guidelines says (and i fully agree with them) that you shouldn't sign coaching staff who speaks language which differs from your players' one (never mention though, that right at the start i am as a manager speak only russian - even my appointment as a manager is out of LLM spirit ). Thus for my english Telford i should sign only English-speaking coaches, physios etc.
The question is "shouldn't it (GL) also say something like from your region"? Because i can happily sign some Mumba-Jumba from-another-part-of-the-globe who still speaks English, but it's quite for sure he'll never get to my team for that weekly pay
Though i realise that a wealthy-minded person would realise it's very far from real life.
P.S. And SWYCT rule works really funny with Russian LLM as from its lowest (hm, second) division one can tour to Africa, Asia and Eastern Europe... having 0 on balance meanwhile.
The most important guideline is just to play as realistically as you see fit. If you think it's unrealistic for someone from the other side of the world to sign on as a coach, then don't do it.
iajafer has the best comment when it comes to wondering if something follows the guidelines...Something along the lines of, "If you need to ask, it probably doesn't."

Yeah the SWYCT guide doesn't always work, but it is a good rule of thumb in most instances. As Guinness79 said if you think it is unrealistic, change the guidelines until your situation is realistic in your opinion.
They are guidelines so you have an idea on what is right/wrong, but they are not rules set in stone.

And what if i am myself speak russian and, thus, can be that 'translator' absolutely free of charge? What then?
