I've got RMI up to Division 1 (currently 2009) and the clubs reputation is local, still. So, what needs to happen for the clubs reputation to rise? It's bloody hard to attract decent players to a club whose wage budget is 24K and reputation local in Division 1 In for a tough season I think

I am not absolutely certain, but I don't think it will ever change, and you will be stuck with your pathetic Conference wage budget. This is one of several things about CM4 that LLMs are not too pleased with, as turning some pitiful conference team into the next Manchester United is basically impossible when you are stuck in your tiny stadium with little more than peanuts to offer to prospective footballers. Unfortunately, this game just doesn't hold up well beyond a few seasons.

Yep, that's one of the bloody poofy bugs that SI had failed to rectify. Not only that, it takes wonders to upgrade your stadium or training facilities.
It really gets dull in the long run. It simply isn't fun anymore when playing in a 6,000 stadium in the Premiership.

Depends on division and money I think. I got carlisle up to the 1st and their rep was still local. after selling on some good players I had a bit of cash in the bank and got promoted.
the teams rep then went to national.

So there is some home ey bigpants!
My team may be utter ****e compared to other div1 teams but at least I am making a nice profit so far. So with money in my pocket things will eventually happen, hopefully.

I think the board are taxmen. I've got over a million in the bank but my transfer budget is tiny and they won't upgrade the stadium. If they would give me some of the money to improve the squad I could have a chance at doing something, but I'm stuck with a conference squad and wage budget in division 1 No surprise I'm at the arse end of the table.

The board tend to take most of the income from smaller clubs, to improve stadiums etc, once the facilities and stadiums are improved, the rep moves up, however this takes millions, I actually think its quite realistic.

On a related note has anyone managed to swap grounds or seen one happen in the game other than the programmed in ones that automattically happen (Arsenal & Man City)? Sharing a ground with Bolton would be a good option if its possible.
