He quite rightly picks on me for my taste in music. I need to pick on him for something.

Other than the fact that he is English

I shared a house with a Goth in the late 80s, who had Sisters of Mercy, The Mission, The Cult, Fields of the Nephalim (sp?), Siouxsie etc on 24/7 rotation. So as a result I have an inbuilt aversion to patchouli (sp?) oil, dusty hats, pixie boots and all things Goth......apart from Mkus obviously

Memory going, Taips?

What I said in the last post, and you're not signing him based on previous knowledge of his playing attributes so it's kosher as far as a Zealot's concerned.

Surely seasoned pro's like dropping down the divisions to begin their coaching careers. Look at some of the real life LLM's and LLC's they played for big clubs, then dropped down to 'prove their coaching salt' Look at Burton or Newport I.W (a season back) both had decent footballers as their player coaches/managers. Even the mighty Worksop had a Mulleted Penalty misser as a player coach. If you are prepared to give them a chance to develop their coaching skills, then why not let them repay you by playing the odd game or 30.
