Well the good thing about that country is that one of the cups is pretty easy to win. At least if nothing else you may get your hands on some silverware, even if you don't get a finanical benefit for winning.

The FA Cup can be a goldmine. A run to the 3rd Round for a Conference side can earn you about £80,000 in prize money alone. On top there is gate receipts and possibly TV money too... then there's the chance of drawing a Premier League team. If you get one of the really big boys away (OK, slim chance but it's always there - I've drawn Arsenal before) that's another half million plus in shared gate receipts.
That money can then be used to strengthen the team for a promotion/survival charge.
