LLMers do not find free transfers by using the search function, they use their scouts. Read the guidelines, for christs sake.

The one that always does my head in is the mis-use of loose instead of lose.

"I didn't loose for three games", "I had nothing to loose"...etc.

Keep an eye out for it in all Fora.

Yeah, I'm still with you. But there's one inherent flaw in your argument: there's nothing stopping scouts finding FREE transfers as well. At least not since they fixed that problem in EP4.

Go ahead, try it. For once in your managerlife actually send out a scout instead of quick-searching the players you read about in GPG and be amazed at how many FREE transfers he actually finds. Of course, it takes a lot longer and you have no idea how well the players will perform but it's not as scary as it sounds.

I do use my scounts, in fact I've used my scouts in every game that I play. Even if they did come back with a free transfer, then how would you know? Its not like it tells you which team they play for. You'd have to go through and look at each and every single one of the players and you might find one IF they do scout free transfers.

You are right, it's annoying that the scout report doesn't tell you which club a player is playing for like it did in 01/02. Alas, that's just another of the inconveniences of CM4 we'll have to live with. If you don't want to look at each and everyone of the recommended players (can't blame you) you can do what Humph3 said and periodically check the scout screen where it's easy to see if a player is on a free.
