unrealistic money

I am managing Halifax on cm01/02 and after a first season of struggle, I then took them up after a great run at the end of the second season.

to my surprise I received £1.5m TV money for division 2 and the board let me have the lot to spend

Now I support Tranmere, who are in the second and a) we don’t get £1.5m TV and b) if we did I doubt the chairman would let the manager spend it all

I just stayed up after spending £1m on new players then got another wedge in season 4

Bit unrealistic

Now check the package of your copy of CM01/02 and search for the part that says "game" on it. After all, it's unrealistic that *you* are managing Halifax, isn't it?

If you don't want that much money available, try playing in a different nation. We all know that England is full with loads of cash.

oh, and btw - why did you have to post here too. Your posting fitted well in GQ, and once is more than enough.

TTBoy - just 'pretend' that you are playing during the ITV Digital era and that you've got the money from them.

Oh, and what Oliver said: it is only a game...

why should i "pretend" to do anything? im playing the most advanced management game ever and would expect the financial struggle of the lower divisions to be laid out

also if teams like PORT VALE and ROTHERHAM are spending 2m each on a player, i need to spend to keep up

T.T Boy, this game isn't as realistic as it could be, if it was - It would serve you with at least 2 pints before every match.
