Default Can i disagree with a rule?

"The Transfer Screen. Stricter LLaMas would never attempt to sign players purely based on the fact they appear as freed in the screen that lists all transfers Worldwide as such a list does not exist in real life. It’s possible to find out such information in the Press, online, etc., but a real life manager doesn’t have access to a transfer screen."

theres a list called the FREE AGENTS list. All managers get sent it

thats how Bolton end up with all the easten europeans

plus real managers have agents knocking on their doors telling them a player is unhappy/available

i aint having a go at the rules. they look weel thought out, its just saying you cant buy a player "cause in real life, you wouldnt get that option" is a bit wrong

in real life, managers have far more options than in CM, they can see players on Tv, have other manager friends who can tell them about players and so on

not having a go at the LLM, so dont ban me or anything, its just alot like Dogma filmmaking, some good ideas, but not all for everyone

Sure you can. You're living in a free country, don't you?

Play your game as you want to. You bought it. You can do with it whatever you want to. But just selecting a team in a lower division doesn't make you belong here. It's that easy.

Oh, and btw. you should try to turn the player stats off. They're unrealistic.

The facetious answer is no - I refer you to the forum header

<BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><font size="-1">quote:</font><HR>The following will not be tolerated ...:

Congratulations on being the first person ever to question this one though. It's always refreshing to hear new arguements.

Sure, patronize the new guy... He's been here less than 3 weeks.

It wouldn't take much for him to find a thread in here discussing the list of free agents available to real life managers now, would it.

It's up to the individual. As the guidelines (note: not rules), Stricter LLaMas don't use it. It's not off limits to all, it's just that some of us don't feel this free list is quite the real McCoy. This "FREE AGENTS" list doesn't contain any stats on how good he is at shooting/jumping does it? If you must use this area, you have to scout the player before signing. Why?

I'll give you a RL example. This is going off memory, but a couple of years ago the KingZ on a recommendation signed a new Brazilian keeper. The recommendation gave him all sorts of praise, and so they signed him to a three year contact sight unseen. The bloke arrived at the airport where he was greeted by the KingZ officials. He was 5 foot nothing, and had never kept goals in his life!

Or so the story goes...

You don't know the mighty Football Kingz? You have no clue about New Zealand Football.

Btw, Taipan, can you make them to sign me too? I'd make a better goalie than that Brazilian bloke, and I always wanted to go to Auckland.
