After 26 years of managing the same side i got sacked. Fine happens all the time right? Do you think its harsh for a club to sack a manager who got them from the conference to the premiership, won the prem title 7 times, runners up position 3 times and won a few cups along the way too? I was sacked because i was 4th in the league after only 10 games into the season. Board Expectation : European qualification.
Has a similar thing happened to any of you guys?
Sorry if this seems like bragging, its not supposed to be, i'm just frustrated at getting sacked after so much loyalty especially when i was acheiving board expectations
The longer that you are at a club, the more likely you are to be dismissed for doing little wrong, in my experience.
In my current game (\o/ Advertising \o/)players are "Losing faith in the manager's ability" as we are a massive one point off the top of the league with a game in hand, and going well in the League Cup, FA Cup & ECL. The board are only pleased with my perfomance, despite all this and the bank balance in excess of £30m. Board Expectations: Success in all areas.
I have experienced this elsewhere before. It's part of the game. Move on.
Can I have clarification here? You have done 21 seasons in 12 days if your post of 5th Oct is correct, or 26 seasons in 12 days if as you said in that same thread, you ditched that game.
Its on CM4. It wasnt the same game as my post before. It wasn't done in 12 days. Hell i think if i'd done 26 seasons in 12 days it would be quite some achievement. I just have like 5 save games that i chisel away at when i'm working online. Just have it running in the background and leave the matches play as i'm working. I dont put it on holiday though, thats pointless cos then you aren't even doing the work.
As for failing school. Highly possible. From my GCSE grades i should be doing way better at A level than i am. F in Chemistry on a recent mock and E in Physics. Its not looking too good to be honest. At least i'll get A's in Maths and Psychology.
Oh yeah and i'm not seeking approval by you guys and i dont really care if you don't believe me since i know a grand total of zero of you guys. I guess next time i might have to just do a journal or something so that its not seen like i'm lying or anything.

Right decided to go for a league i haven't done before. Narrowed it down to Brazil, italy and scotland. Looking at the brazillian league, i havent a clue how it works out so i might go for that.
