It has, and here's a question for all you LLaMa gastronomes out there in LLaMaland.

What's your favourite soup?

My Gran made a mean lentil broth, but my current favourite's potato and leek

Chicken or mushroom for me. The bread is just as important for me though; a couple of doorstep-size slices of crusty bread to go with it always does the job.

This thread feels luxuriously quick doesn't it...

Bread is hugely important. Tesco make a lovely strong flour Italian crusty job that sticks to your ribs

Nice choices, btw

Ah, as an ex-hotel worker I'm able to tell you the origin of croutons.

You know when it's time for a spring-clean and you move the fridge and cooker to sweep behind them? The bits you sweep up that haven't been eaten by the mice? Croutons!!!

Mushroom would be my current favourite.

Although my gran makes a mean chicken soup...bones and all!

Chicken Noodle - with added pepper and a knob of butter.

Crusty roll too!

Chinese Chili soup! Especially great when you got a cold - it cleans out your nose and your throat within seconds.
