I've not seen any real evidence of that. There's plenty of quality players still coming through.

So, sincerely, you advice me to go on with my LL team?
I ask this because you surely know how difficult is going on with a LL team and, reading of some affecting issue, I was quite convinced to go back to CM 01-02, waiting for 03-04 to come out.

03/04 is a _huge_ improvement on CM4. It's a joy to play a season, it's a must to play a career (That cheque's in the post, right? )
Get youselves 03/04 and use CM4 as a coaster

cm4 is sh!t, how is 03/04 better??
and whats the game speed like? I can only do 3 seasons max and then Cm4 turns into a snail.
Does 03/04 change any of this?

Speed's up to scratch, maybe not up to 01/02 with the 2D game engine, but in between it's just as fast.
This probably accounts for the playability being better to a great extent because you're not cooking a meal and having a shave between games
I won't give any of the improvements away, but it's definitely more LLM friendly, again not 01/02 standard, but definitely a leap in the right direction.
As for 3 seasons in, we can't say as we've only played a season with the test builds.
...and that's really my only worry. That as the seasons pile up it'll slow down, as the saves are a lot bigger than CM3.

I was talking about 01/02! Haven't played CM4 yet, so I wouldn't know.

The only thing really bothering me with CM4 is that it doesn't require me to work hard for success. You just keep playing the same old tired tactic and don't have to care who you play or how they're playing, you know, all these things you would normally do to win a game. Not saying I'd be winning all the time, but the way I'm playing I really should be losing every game.

I know what you mean, Dale. I'm playing a final game with CM4 before 03/04 comes out, and a lot of it is done with the fingers rather than the head.
I've grown to love the 2D, though :o
The instances of jumping up and howling at the small blobs on the pitch have increased dramatically over the past few days
"TACKLE HIM, you poof!!!", or "WHERE THE F*CK ARE YOU GOING???", or "How in the hell did you miss that? "
I've fallen for what I previously described as eye candy |
