Agree with all of the above. I am at Braintree at the moment but if a bigger clubs comes calling they won't see me for the tinted windows on my new porsche! :cool:

I'd like to reconsider my statement. I'd prefer to take a team as far I can e.g. stick with them and get them up the leagues. In FM08 this doesn't seem to work for me because I either get relegated, fired or my contract isn't renewed...

I'm a serial job hopper, though I did stay at Catanzaro for 6 seasons.

I often find if i've been with a team for a few seasons, say 5 or 6, and even if progress has been rather limited, I more often than not regret jumping team.

The best i have ever done is taken Northwich the whole way to the championship, but I then jumped to Newcastle in the Prem, and just couldnt get into it at all, and really regretted moving

I sometimes do this, but then find out that it usually means a quick end for my save. It's boring at the top, and once I get there I find myself longing for the days when my scouts can find nowt, and I get all excited when I sign some unkonwn guy who has four or five stats with double figures. I like taking smaller clubs all the way to the top, but don't enjoy so much jumping to a bigger club - I'm very loyal.

I still remember that one of the biggest joys I've had with this game was in CM 01/02, when after many, many seasons, I won the Champions League with Notts County.

In my current save, I have spent as few as 74 days (Excelsior) and as long as 1957 (Lecco), however, Gimnasia are a close second with 1164.

However, I approach switching teams in LLM as dancing, a few steps sideways in similar leagues, a few steps back and some forward.

I only go top another club when I'm forced to leave. I never resign or reject a new contract. When the club decides they had enough of me I feel it's time to move on. I never look for another club when I contracted to a club. Sometimes I do check out the "Jobs" screen and then I see some clubs which seem to be nice to manage, but I never apply for a job.

That's my usual behaviour also (partly because I'm afraid of ****ing off the board by applying to a position at another club).
