FM2008 Is the first game in the FM series that i've bought, I used to play CM96/97 back in the day, then I played CM01/02, and I just wondered if more people then not actually thought that this patch has made the game worse!

I prefer the patched version - there was a problem with defenders closing players down on the unpatched version, this has now been fixed. 8.0.1 is by no means perfect, and I don't expect 8.0.2 to be either, but it's a very good game now. :thup:

If you overlook the fact having a freekick inside 40 yards or a corner seemed better than being awarded a penalty, I thought the first beta was the best match engine.
