I think it's the fact that the transfer will take place in a year from now. How old is the player in question?

maybe you accidently clicked July 2014 instead of immediately in the offer screen. Otherwise it must be a bug because July is always in the transfer window.

It's in the picture, he's 22
I tried to sign him during the season but Newcastle was going slow about it and finally caved in about the 1st/2nd of July
His contract runs to 2017

| Yeah, sorry about that, I should have spotted it.
I think there was some rule about players not being allowed to move twice in a season or something. Is this the case with him?
