A few points and questions after playing 3/4 of a season properly
* The number of bookings and (to a slightly lesser extent) sendings off is very high. After 3/4 of a season Gretna have 75 bookings - that's a bit much. 100 bookings a season, not very realistic. They have the most, but there are lots of teams close behind.
* Number of fouls given away as a result of a bodycheck or obstruction - there are tons and tons. Please have a look at this
* The stats page that appears as the game is processing seems to have the wrong numbers in it randomly - for example, my Rangers team that lost one game in about 14 has went "0 games won in a row". There are loads of different examples of things like this - the screen only ever seems to show the correct values for bookings and goals from freekicks/corners.
* how do you stop a player from learning from another?
* where has the 'pinpoint weakest link' in future matches went? Now all i can do is say "X will be the biggest threat", which according to the media makes them play better as they rise to the challenge.
* is there a way i can reduce the number of offsides my team conceeds a game? I can't think of any specific player instructions that would do it
Cheers

1) I don't think bookings are that high - Im in February and the most amount of yellow cards in the PL is 35. I have 18. Sounds about right.
2) Watch most Premiership matches and the number of fouls due to bodychecking can be very high - it all depends on the ref (rennie, I'm looking at you)
3) Are you sure the last game wasn't the one you lost?
4) I guess you have to switch it in the Player Interactiopn menu to a player you do want them to learn from.

I said that one of my ex players Colin Strong would be a threat, and the media said hes not the kind of player to thrive on this pressure, and played so badly he was subbed after 30 minutes!

Bookings were stupidly high for me - all my central midfielders had between 10-20 yellow cards, and there's four that I rotate.
However...this is entirely due to the fact I had them on hard tackling. Tweaking that down to medium tackle helped, although I've found having them on easy tackle really makes the difference. So maybe this instruction simply works better than in previous versions?
