I was approached by Cameroon and the Ivory Coast, but didn't particularly want an international job on top of a club post so I turned both down. Nice to be asked though.

This is the exact thing i posted on year a few months ago think there should be more of exactly this. More head hunting by clubs i have never been approuched without applying on fm 08. I think i was maybe once on 07 but im not 100% sure on that. The only time i have been approuched was for international but i think club teams should do it more. As to be honest are you more likely to apply for a job if you are in one or be head hunted and accept a new club that way.

Isn't it based on reputation? Ie if you manage Madrid then clubs dont approach you because they dont think you would leave.

Agree. I only get offered club jobs when my reputation is bigger than the club I'm at.

When I was worldwide and Brentford was national, I got offered/linked with pretty much every Premiership/Serie A job that was going.
