here are the reasons i wanted to state in the other thread:


-training bug

-no strikers trying to dribble past goalies

-übergoalies that save like 4-5 rebounds a game

-no close distance goals except tap ins

-the spanish squad registration bug

-silly closing down bug

-corners being screwed up by mostly being to close to the goal no matter how you set them up

-silly negotiation bug, that when you offer sum a and ai asks for sum b, sum b will constantly be raised when you raise your offer

- no more curled shots, all shots are straight

-due to the training bug from 2015 on all international squads are totally overaged, there are no equivalent regens generated

-commentary comments a different match

-reputations of players hardly increase

-no 10s in player ratings in any match over 10 seasons

-like 25-40 shots on goal a match and team doesnt score, while ai has like 2-3 shots and scores

-match engine stuttering even on good pcs

-silly regens whose attributes are not corresponding to their position

-club reputations drop although you win titles

In summary, the game's not perfect, but I don't see why you think the game is unplayable. But then, I'm addicted to FM08 so maybe I'm biased.

I've had my strikers take the ball arround the keeper before.

Super GK's are a myth. It's just an excuse for people with poor tactics.

I've had loads of close distant goals that weren't tap ins. LOADS.

Luckily I have never had the desire to play in Spain.

I have now worked out how to close down effectively.

Not sure what you mean here. My team is pretty prolific from corners.

Never spent a penny on a player so not in a position to comment.

My wide attackers score quite a few curled shots thanks.

Like I said before, never heard of a training bug but then again I haven't reached 2015 yet so maybe that's why.

I think I've had 4 in 5 seasons.

I've never had 40 shots in a game ever. Maybe that tells you about they type of chance you are creating and the type of chance I am creating. Tactics again.

I think I've got used to this now, but I think it only does it after I've just made a substitution or a tactical change.

Isn't that just life?

Would love to see some proof of this one. Just a guess but maybe it's related to how well you do in other competitions too.

Give the guy a break. Actually very good points allthough haven't encountered all of it.

"What training bug"... well if you just would take time check the bugs forum where there are threads after threads... page after page... than you might "see the light".

..and yes. This is not the proper forum for this post but considering how much information the development team do give us... well he might as well posted here or the moon.

I agreed with most of your points except this one? Are you sure you've seen curled shots? Because I've never seen one yet.
