Anybody know how to do this

No matter what team i am at I always find it impossible to sell players! I thought it was meant to be easier on 08!

Anyone got any 'selling tactics'??

i think your best bet is to offer them to other teams.

I've also found that teams seem to be less likely to buy players when they are in your reserve squad. I had a decent striker (Jermain Defoe) in my reserves for an entire season since I switched to one up front and had better forwards. I offered him out to clubs for silly money and nobody wanted him.

Then I had a small injury crisis up front and promoted him to the first team squad to sit on the bench for several matches and all of a sudden offers started to come in.

At the start of a new game, I always find it easier to sell unwanted players quickly.

A few years in, if there's no interest and no chance he'll make the first team to attract attention, I'll look to loan him out. Put him in the shop window so to speak. :thup:
