Why does a game never get postponed for bad weather? I think this should be a feature on the game!

I don't think that there is sufficiently extreme weather coded within the game to ever justify a postponement.

Similarly it happens so infrequently IRL that coding it would either:

A) be a waste of time with only 1 in 20 users seing it, or

B) lead to it happening too often (or appearing to at least) which would only generate irritation.

We're already god problems with the virtual F.A. rescheduling games for other reasons, leading to tremendous fixture congestion at the end of the season (for serious success-in-all-Cups sides) .. until the handling of postponed fixtures is improved, I wouldn't want to see more postponements.

That said, I'm in favour of it as a realistic addition for long-term development ..

For Sheffield FC it happens quite frequently. Sheff have 10 games in hand on opposition that is above them in the table. It's been happening quite often in the NPL.

Lots have been for bad weather but others have been because of a cup games... that ends up being postponed anyway. It would be an allright feature, but I reckon the condition of the players would be way down with the quick turnaround of matches.
