Does anyone know hoe to create skins from sctracth or recolour them, if os could they post how to do it as i would love to be able to make skins

Check out the forum on http://www.sortitoutsi.net for a short tutorial to get you started with the graphics and feel free to ask for help on these forums and show of early versions of your skin.

The best graphical program to use for this is Photoshop although it is possible to use other programs such as Fireworks and free program 'The Gimp'. I advise not using MSPaint!

There's not really any guides as such for making skins as the whole thing can range from being incredibly simple to incredibly complex.

When designing a new skin or whatever, I usually start off by creating a mockup in Photoshop of what I want it to look like and arse around tweaking things here and there until I think it's ready to put in the game.

I'll then split up the graphics into the slices I need and save them to wherever I want to. Then it's a matter of copying the necessary xml files into the new skin folder and getting them all displaying in the game.

When someone asks how to make a skin I don't really know how to answer as it depends really what it is they are wanting to do. The best way to start is to get familiar with how the current skins are pieced together and try playing around with them (always make backups first of course!)

Can anyone give me a step by step guide to putting the skin onto FM06 as I have been playing the game for ages but I have only just got online so i dont have a clue how to put them on.
