Not really, its certainly coming along though.

If i could get a solution to the outlined text problem i could have it done in a few days. I don't want to release something half assed though. If it does not look right then I won't put it out.

The main screens i have gone with a simple black transparent look. It was difficult to try and make the main screen area fit with the changing wrap around thing, but i think it works. I tried adding a picture to the background of the main screen area (essentially a big rectangle at 50% transparency) that changed colour with the skin, but it just crashed the game rather than creating a cool looking skin effect.

I would maybe post some screen shots of the slight changes but there isn't a lot to show to be honest and at the moment I am more than a bit beered up (I seriously suggest you try 'Duvel' lager if you can at 8.5%, best if you go to "The City" pub in Durham on a weeknight as its BOGOF)

I really hope I can get things sorted and get the skin out soon though.

Could you give us a screenshot of what the skin looks like without the outlined text? Then we could decide whether or not we like it as it is.

The ones at the top all are. The real madrid one shows the problem worst.

On the tree menu 'profile' is the highlighted option but because the highlight colour is set as white then it looks rubbish.

No matter what you set the highlighted text colour as there is always be a team that clashes.

Yep, as i said, If i could find out how to get outlined text then i could have it done in a matter of days.

That's one blemish on a perfect skin. Just release a BETA version for us to get used to before you release the full, outlined-text version. I'm sure most people won't mind that there isn't an outline around that text, and we are dying to use it.

Yes, i will put out a left hand version.

Its likely that they will both come in the same zip and you will have to have both installed. This is because the left will need to inherit bits and bobs from the right. Its a lot neater that way and only adds a few extra kb to the size of the skin download, rather than having 2 larger downloads.

As for releasing a beta, I'm not keen on that.

Looking good. Will there be a left-sided version as I prefer my menu to be on the left as opposed to the right.

If not it's easy enough for you to change it. Will only take about 2 seconds.

For example go to CProgram Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2005\data\skins\elegance\panels and delete the globalpanels.xml and reload the game and it should be left handed.
