You can use The GIMP (free open source imaging program) or download trials for Paint Shop Pro or Macromedia Fireworks, you may also be able to download a trial version of an older version of photoshop.

Also check out download.com they should have plenty of free imaging programs, most programs apart from MS Paint should work (you need a program that can save as png, set opacity levels, and cut and resize images).

i'm using Macromedia Fireworks mx 2004, i don't know but i think it's free.. it's a simple verson of photoshop.

Fireworks is certainly not free - it is around £250 to buy. I wouldn't call it a simple version of Photoshop either - tbh I prefer Fireworks to photoshop for skinning.

I have heard good things about 'the gimp' - I would try that.

You can not use MS Paint - try the free trial of fireworks or Paint Shop Pro or The GIMP.

I meant as i only wanted one or two, i asked on forums and they were done. That said, that was for fm05 when there were less packs around, i've only had to ask for one this year as it's a special kit that hasn't been worn much. It's worth downloading a few kitpacks and seeing if you like them.

If you only want a couple of things doing your best of requesting (nicely) on one of the fan forums or emailing one of the kit/face/logo pack makers who's style you like
