the other skins are fine, its just metallic 2006, any ideas?

still no luck with getting rid of the black screen; now the picture i want, the default, and the black screen rotate.

First have you turned the skin cache off? If you have try deleting the cache files (If you are using patch 6.0.2 the cache will be located in the same folder as your save games - they'll be a folder called cache and a sub folder called english, delete the english folder and its contents, this will ensure the game rebuilds the cache next time you load it).

A black screen normaly occurs when you have a graphic assigned in a config file, but the game can not find the graphic. If your backgrounds work fine on other skins, delete the backgrounds folder for the metalic 2006 skin and copy the backgrounds folder from a working skin.

ive put the line of coding in, put in the unique ID of 696, and put a picture called that, in the background folder of the skin but no joy.
