Basically, it's best to say no. At the end of the day, not to get all Mr. Morality on you, but this is the lowest form of cheating and editing the memory on one computer will not affect all other computers (unless they send all game infomation to the server when the game is updated, which they don't).

I don't pretend to know the in's and out's of how FM deals with network games either because I never have time for them myself, and the ones in which I participate become boring after a couple of seasons.

You could do it in a network game if you were the server but since you aren't, I wouldn't even risk it. You'll likely not only damage your own game, but you could adversely affect the stability of everyone elses.

At the end of the day... No. And I pity the person who is able to make one work. This coming from one of the folks at Mind Compression!
