Changing the name of the nations!

Hi all!
I ve a problem. I try to change a nation name for example France to Galacticos. But when i start the game, i cant see this country on the list of the playable nations. My question is: isn't it possible to change the name of any nation or am i doing something wrong?

You can change the short and long names of a country, change the continent and edit pretty much everything except one thing.

If you change the TLA, it will mess the game up, as that is the value the game uses to identify playable countries.
