As discussed late 2005, my purpose was to make totally randomized database. So like when you start new game, all players are so random, that you don't know which player is "good and cheap" and so on.
This is done by setting Player attributes to 0 on database, so game "randomizes" them.
Too bad, randomizing everything ( Setting to 0 ) just does not "work". Examples...
- Positional; Many squads have no goalkeepers + other things
- Height and Weight; Players' height varies between about 170 and 177
- Reputation; There are no "star players"
- Deleting players; Game seems not create players if there are none on Database.
And so on.
Many things late 2005, including database hosting, screwed up but now I have tested some databases over 2 months and can say following...
-----
Best working randomization is Non Techical + Technical attributes randomized.
When using Random Players ( Use Real Players: No ) combined with Technical + Non technical attributes randomized DB.
Played for some time 6.0.2 and after that using FM scout on various save games.
- There seems to be very few left footed goalkeepers ( 6.0.2 ). Does not apply on 6.0.3. Just random?
- There seems to be many players with SAME potential ability AND ability. For example Ability 130 and potential 130. So like player is "maxed out" right away. ( Maybe likely due to Random Players-option ) ( 6.0.2 )
- Young players may have good ability. How about 16 years old player with 130 ability? Why not, but he may have Potential 130 also... This can make Under 21 national teams and such quite interesting ( 6.0.2 ).
- Many players seem to have excellent potential ( Even 200 ) but poor ability ( About 20-50 ) ( 6.0.2 ).
- Some "renamed real players" have different nationality ( Most likely due to Random Players-option ). Both ( 6.0.2 ) and ( 6.0.3 )..
- It seems that some players' ability and potential are swapped between other players on same team. For example Player A has 140/164 and player B has 100/130. When starting new game, player a may have 100/130 and player B 140/164. Not sure about this one ( Most likely due to Random Players-option ).
- Tall players ( like 199 cm ) may be skillful and pacey and so on. Also short players are many times surprisingly good on Jumping and Heading. Both ( 6.0.2 ) and ( 6.0.3 ).
- Positional attributes seem to be on balance ( Not randomized ). If positional attributes are randomized, there seem to be very few strikers and goalkeepers. But many left sided midfielders and right sided defenders. ( 6.0.2 ).
- Player contracts are usually 1, 2 or 3 years when starting new game. Nice when you may try to keep players you want and quite easilly put away those you do not want to. ( Most likely due to Random Players-option ). Both ( 6.0.2 ) and ( 6.0.3 ).
Realistic? No.
Fun? Yes.

Using Real Players ( Use Real Players: Yes ) with random Databases...
In this case, players should have same positions and abilites and such, but their technical and non technical skills are somewhat random.
Let's take a look to some "well known" players on Real Madrid... ( There are many hidden skills included on Technical and Non Technical attributes )
Corner, Free kick and Penalty "specialist" David Beckham

Roberto Carlos certainly is "good" on Long Shots and Free Kicks.

Pavon takes an excellent penalty.

So does Owen.

Realistic? Not at all.
Fun? Certainly.

Now I should have also other host than just Megaupload.
I will share this 6.0.3 Technical + Non Technical randomized database quite soon. At least at Megaupload.com or similar...
