Does MCFM work when you play a network game?

I won't bore you with the details if you don't bore me with the ethical questions inherent in my question. I just want a yes or no answer, thanks in advance.

Could anybody help out? I get the following message when trying to install MCFM -

This setup requires the .NET Framework version 1.1.4322

I go to the site it tells me too and I have downloaded both .NET Framework 1.1, that did not solve the problem so I downloaded .NET Framework 2.0, This also did not solve the problem.

Which .NET Framework do I actually need? Im using Windows Service Pack 2 also.

You have to do more than download the framework... You have to install it as well.

Ritesh, we can't be held responsible for what you do to your game by renaming the files. There have been plans to release a WWSM version, but as Dan and myself are incredibly busy, I don't think there is any kind of degree of certainty surrounding another version just now.

Sorry, I worded that badly. I have installed the 2.0 framework, it still does not work.

I installed framework 1.1, and I got the same error message, I then installed framework 2.0 and I still get the same error message.

Am I downloading the correct frameworks?

Yes, but it's clearly an issue with your own computer.

I would uninstall both sets of frameworks and then re-install.

I uninstalled the previous versions and installed 1.1. It now works. Thank you very much

Newbie question alert....

hi, just discovered MCFM and it sounds like a brillliant application. Im playing with a friend on my computer and he keeps beating me and doing better than me so naturally i want to sneak into the saved game and edit a few things i.e give my team extra money.

anyway, i have installed mcfm06 after installing .net frameworks 1.1 and i get this message :Application has generated an exception that could not be handled.

Process id=0xe9c (3740), Thread id=0xabc(2748)

am i doing this right? I load up FM and load up the saved game, go to the MCFM.exe file and double click?

Version 1.02 and patch 6.02 are being used.
