Basically what i would like to do is put myself in the game, i know how to do that. However, i want to make myself pretty poor but not terrible at the start of the game then about 5 years in my ability will shine through and i will be pretty good.

I was wondering if anyone could give me guidance of how to do this? Thanks!

depends on what league you will start in, maybe 100 CA but you want to be half decent set yourelf to -7 or -8 PA

Yeah seems like a good idea with 100 CA and -7 or - 8 in PA if your in premier league and maybe 110-120 in italian or spanish if you get my drift? I've would perhaps make my self a wonderkid with -10 !!! your age should be 16-17 and you will be amazing when your 20-21. tahts just me though.

But also remember to put in a 20 in determination, work rate and team. I would also make my self pretty decent on the hidden stats like professionalism and loyalty so you know you're gonna stay with you :-))

but for the attributes if i am doing that should i make them like i want them to be when he is his best or how good i want him to be at the start

I believe you should set up your attributes to be what you want at the start and put your potential ability at -9 or -10 so that you will grow.

Basically, put your attributes to where you wants them to be, but at a much lower scale...so say you want to be more of a technical striker, rather than a target man for example...your dribbling ability should be at a 8 and your heading ability at a 4.
