1.) For the majority of my youth/younger players it is possible to link them to a player in order for tuition to occur, but for some young players when I go into the player interaction section there is no option to tutor them.....I could understand this for a young player who is already playing 1st team football but I don't understand why it doesn't work for the reserve players.....does anyone know why this is and/or how I can fix it?

2.) Is there a limit of preferred moves a young player can learn? The maximum I have achieved so far is 8

1) It is a bit annoying, mainly because you can not really say exactly why some of the youngsters can not be tutored.
a) They need a low squad status, so either do not play them for a long time, get them to sign a prospect or youngster contract, or simply alter their status (they might get upset!).
b) Some players can not be tutored for a while after they arrived. Be patient and have at least one potential tutor ready to step in if the option becomes available.
c) Sent them on loan - sometimes you will be able to tutor them, when they return.
d) Check in the begining of each month, if you can tutor them (often you suddenly can).

It won't work for all players. For instance I never managed to get Aaron Lennon tutored. But these methodes are the only way to do it.

Thanks for your reply Ans Gulrik, I really appreciate it I will try your ideas out for sure, I was thinking that I have a player who is a hot prospect who can't be tutored and a decent young player or youngster can be tutored, maybe the game feels that a hot prospect is too high a squad status for tutoring? I'm not sure, just a thought.....

Does anyone else have something further to add or a response for the second question?
