do people find any difference when they set forward runs to often on strikers? ive tried often and mixed and cant seem to find too much difference...what kind of tactic utilises the forward runs of strikers more:- crosses (if so, what height, where from), run onto ball/through balls (never seem to see it happen), long balls or short passes...i find getting the 'run onto ball' option for a target man very hard to get right. has anyone used it effectively?
ive also never seen strikers run with the ball too much...i set my striker (good dribbling, pace, technique) on dribble often, with the hope of a weaving run into the box, but never see it happen...does the player have to be further out for more impact?
dealing with offsides...if i get offsides to often i drop the mentality and forward runs of my offending strikers...this seems to stunt the potency of my attacks however...anyone have any other way of dealing with it?
