If a midfielder with try through ball gets the ball, will my striker be more likely to make a forward run as compared to a midfielder with no through ball getting the ball?

If a striker is on short passing, will his co-striker be more likely to move towards him to collect the pass? If on direct, be more likely to anticipate a direct ball and act accordingly?

If a winger has crossing on never, will a striker be more likely to drop deep/wide to receive the ball?

Etc. etc.

Not really unless you give them lots of creative freedom, then he will use his own judgements. If you don't give him much CF, then he will play to the instructions you gave him, so if you set forward runs for example, then he would make forward runs, if not then no.
