It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

Default 4-4-2 using only quick strikers?

Any tactical advice for a team that only has only small, quick strikers? I'm playing as Leeds United in season 3 and my forwards are Walcott, Howson, Stokes, Terry Dixon and Elyounoussi - so all young and talented.

I've got decent creativity in my midfield with Adu, Diomansy Kamara, Rothery, Huddlestone, Figo (yeah I know he's ancient) to chose from but I don't seem to be getting much ball to the front men.

Is there anything really basic I should be doing when playing without a big target man?

Thanks in advance.

I'd suggest set passing down the flanks, set yourself with a relatively wide attack, and set your attackers to run with the ball on high. Then if all is well, they should be running from the sides at the goal for lots of shots across the keeper's body. The idea is to have them come across the face of the goal faster than the defenders can keep up laterally. Also should open some holes up in the middle in front of the goal with the wide attack to allow them to run through the defense. I've got my attack set like that and it works very well. Even nicer when you have a quick attacker who is 15 or above on long shots. He gets me a lot of midrange opportunities with only the keeper to beat.
