Ok I found this regen in my ajax game ..3rd season, he got lots of ppm but wrong for a MC imo. Is it possible to retrain him to AMR maybe? or can you force him to stop doing those prefered moves? as you can see they are not right for a center MC imo...

I'm sure you can re-train him, but you can't stop him from preforming those moves although you could limit them with player instructions

Problem is that; he likes to hug line and run down right side - I dont want him to do that in MC position...

You can retrain him easily, but he has low crossing, so I wouldn't want him on the wing personally. You can train it up, but probably not enough.

The Lambs

I'd buy him in a flash, play him as an AMC with free role ticked (his creativity is great but flair is a bit poo) and forward runs often.

That should be enough to keep him busy in the midfield playing one-twos, knocking the ball past opponents and shooting from distance.

Can't fault his stats for an 18 year old.

If it doesn't work out, I would send him on loan for a season and then sell him for a profit for a profit, he'll be worth about 10 million in a year or two. imho.

I don't really think those PPMs are that bad a deal for a MC, if you play 4 across the midfield I'd play him as the MCr and he should do well. I doubt he'll actually try to hug the line from the center-mid position all that often.

If you believe in using player switching you could perhaps have him able to switch positions w/ your MR slot too.

I would have thought also that just because he likes to hug the line doesn't necessarily mean that he WILL hug the line playing at CM. Though I would retrain him as a MR just as a matter of course.

I had a problem where I had Ribery tutor a young AML and now one of his PPMs is that he likes to run with ball down the right.....would this just mean he'll like to run with the ball down the left? or will the move just be ineffectual?

i had some odd things happen with tutoring, i got a young amc tutoted by a amrlc and he gained a competent in amr with runs down right, however i heard someone say that that runs down right/left will only apply if the play is in a possition to do so. think of long shots if a player has trys long range shots in his ppms will he try and score from the corner flag? its a long shot but its dumb so he won't if he has ok decisions.
