I created some pretty successful training schedules on my game and have been using them since the first week I began testing FM some months ago. Over the course of several month I have tweaked them and carried onto tweak until I felt happy and saw a decent amount of players stats rise.
Before I go on, there are a few things to remember about training on FM07 as its different from previous games. You no longer see players stats rise dramatically any more. Players over the age of 24 might not see much improvements in stats at all, and the same can be said of a player who has reached his current ability. Its more about sustaining the stats he has on this version. Only young players will develop dramatically with the right schedule and a bit of time.
The schedules I am about to discuss are not a miracle cure for all players and wont make them the worlds best player. All it will do is help raise the stats that I think are important for the particular positions. These regimes should sustain the stats and you should see them rise and stay over the test of time.
Like an idiot I never took screenshots at the beginning of my game as I didn't expect to be posting these, however I changed my mind about posting them for one reason or another. So I cannot show the players how they where at the start, I could load a new game up and show you a screenshot of them then, but some of the players will have random stats I guess so something might have changed and not be a direct result of training. So the screenshots would be misleading in some ways.
However I can show you a few screenshots of the players now in my game, although please note the season as finished here so my players stats will have declined a little now. But once I get a bit into next season and players are fit and training well, I will update the screenshots a little more so you have a better idea of what's what.
As you can see from the screenshots, the younger players under 19 stats do seem to rise quite fast and high, while the older players you see a more steady increase.
Now onto the schedules;
All they are, is 4 simple regimes that cover the basic attribute training for each position. The regimes are Keeper, Defenders, Midfielders and Striker's. Its just as simple as that, for defensive midfielders I add them to the defenders schedule. For Forwards I add them to the strikers schedule and so on, you get the drift I imagine.
I'm not going to put these schedules up for download, instead I will give you screenshots so you can create them in game yourself. I like people to put a bit of effort in and understand what they are doing, rather than just download and install them.
These shouldn't be too heavy and I think there a right balance. I've had tried these schedules at all levels and had the same results. You shouldn't have injury problems or anything with these. I'm not saying you wont get training injuries as that's impossible to cure, however nothing more than normal or what you should have.
Youths - one simple and in my experience simple tweak is to up the ball control training, to the level of the physical training in the default youth schedule. It is important to give youngsters technical skills at an early age - in real life, and in FM too.
