It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

I notice you make the strikers train more defending than the midfields.
Is there any reason for that?

These schedules appear to be aimed at lower leagues because they seem to focus towards defensive abilities?

Like paulinho above me, I've been using specific schedules on a per-position basis with In-Season, Pre-Season, RecoveringFromInjury, LessIntensive and Youth variations with moderate success. However, the patch seems to have picked things up and my schedule seems to be working much better and I'm getting less injuries (although, as we all know, injury frequency is not easily judged).

However, I'm totally going to steal your GK training schedule because I have failed to work GK strength as much as you

What's the thinking behind the strikers only having low end of high shooting yet high end of light defending?
If I set the shooting to more intensive, they would over concentrate on that particular area, something I don't want.

Its the same morealess in all honesty, its only 1 notch difference in both schedules, hardly any difference at all.

Nope not at all, im of the opinion that all attacking players should do defensive training if only ever so lightly. It helps with their tackling and to maintain their stats. Because I like all my players to tackle, thats why its like that.

Cleon,

Can you explain how defensive training "maintains" stats? Which stats does it maintain which could help a striker?

I've been suffering from a drop in concentration in my strikers/FC's and am wondering if Defensive training would help in this.

That was one of the main reasons yeah, since I let my players do defensive training it doesn't seem to drop at all anymore like it previosuly did. I also like my strikers to mark specific fullbacks at times, if they are very attack minded. It helps with this too imo.

You started a new game with new patch? Thats a lot of injuries in 1 month. I doubt its down to the schedules though as they are only medium and nowhere near intensive. Although it could just be a bit of bad luck, it happens sometimes, but over time there shouldn;t be more injuries than you'd normally get.

It would be good to know which team you are and what season. Also what players where getting injured, where they all from the same schedule?

Another thing, whats the conditions like of your players when you finish a game?

Cleon, I seem to remember previously you stating that increasing the workload of schedules to the higher end of heavy didn't have any detrimental effect on the amount of injuries.

Have you revised this thinking following your tests?
