It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

lanredo: For what it's worth, I'm having the exact same problem. Once I play a player 2-3 matches in a row their stats suffer a 1-2 points drop. As Cleon pointed out, it could be because they're getting tired. But the strange thing is I didn't notice this when I used my own training schedule which is just basically the default training with some values increased to reach just below the heavy workload.

And, Cleon's regimes are much less intensive than the old one I used, so I can't really figure out why the players are getting the stat drops. I play the same tactic as well.

But Cleon's regimes do seem to give good results in the long run. So hats off for that Cleon!

Also, forgot to mention, I get virtually no injuries with Cleons regimes.

Whats the average condition like when you finish a game for most players? Is it below 70%?

Yeh i cant see much wrong with these the fitness is about where i found is a good level without to many problems.

your right in giving the keeper extra workload, if you guys check out his workload attribute bar after at least a months training you will see its yellow and not orange, therefore he can be given a higher workload and it wont effect his overall fitness, but dont go mad and kill him

the only thing that cought my eye was on ur defenders you dont give much "ball control" which also includes heading training, do you find the dc's still get enough heading improvements even tho its on light ?, i found anything much below medium didnt do any improvements at all, but training is somthing i have turned a blind eye to at the moment but looking to get into them more now the new patch is out.

Hey Cleon..
I have been using my training schedules from the start with some guidelines from 'Synax', which seem to be improving all major stats. Just wanted to ask you tho, i have noticed you have no (attacking training) down for your Goalkeepers, does that cause a decease in stats for passing. I ask because i like my keepers to play short to a defender to keep hold of the ball.

cleon, my post about you putting the your training up for download was supposed to be a bit of light hearted banter, thats why i put a wink emoticon at the end of it.
as for being lazy, i don't think this version of the game allows you to be lazy if you want some success,i've spent ages reading posts picking up tips from the good folks on here which have meant me making plenty of tweaks before and during games with arrows added and taken away, having played all the versions of CM/FM i find this the hardest but also most enjoyable because its a real challenge.
to be fair my training doesn't get as much attention as my tactics but by reading through this thread and others like it i should be able to make improvements with training, maybe i'm not so lazt after all

Usually around 85. The only ones that drop below 80 are the strikers towards the end of the matches, cause I have them closing down quite a bit, but then I usually substitute them.

I'm trying to go back to a more default schedule to see if there's any difference but to be honest I haven't been scientific enough to draw any conclusions.
