I designed this tactic because i was bored with the italian stlye of play, scores loads. Used at big clubs mainly but had loads of success with villa.
The object of the tactic is to score more than your oponent - not a tactic for someone who wants to play defensive football and concede very few.

Ive won 9 on the trot now with a youthful milan, hope it works for you guys.

I've not downloaded it, but it looks like a .tac file. Just plonk it straight into your tactics folder in My Documents/Sports Interactive.

Ok its a 4-4-2 diamond formation although the defensive midfielder acts as more of a playmaker (i haven't selected him as a playmaker as i feel they are easily marked out of the game. At Arsenal i had beckham in that role but at milan i have xavi. i.e. both have good passing. In attacking midfield i give the player lots of creative freedom so i purchased riquelme as his stats seem to suit this role.
The focus of the tactic is to break teams down as this tatic was primarily developed in italy where they all play quite defensive. To do this i have width with farrows on both MLR and DLR.
Quick tempo so works well in england when i had a spell with villa where i won the fa cup and league in same season.
Good wingers and wingbacks/fullbacks are essential for the tactic as most the passing is down the flanks.
Mentality is global except for the defenders which it varies between the players. Closing down is also variable between players.
I play a high defensive line so most of the play is up in the opposition half and i avoid counterattacks most of the time by playing 'offside'.
