It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

I tried your away tactic with the wingers and fast striker all aiming their crosses at the target man and it's got me the win after i was losing 2-0 at half time away in the wet.

I'll try it for next few games and get back to you.

Just a note on the wet tactic.

I was away to Charlton and had forgotten to look at the weather conditions. It turned out to be wet with a dark green pitch but I'd already kicked off. Charlton scored after one minute so I immediately switched to the wet tactic.

From there on we dominated and ended up winning at a canter, 4-2 (Their 2nd was a consolation goal at 4-1 in the last minute).

well, during my continued testing (which i'll do well to finish by tomorrow night, although i've not had much chance to play this weekend) i just had a shocker of a game.

playing villa (in my mind i pronounced that as villa as in david villa and nearly retyped, lol) away i was losing 2-0 at half time, but they didn't deserve it. i changed to the wet tactic, but although it was wet, the pitch was normal. i ended up losing 4-0, but gordon should have done better with all except their 1st goal. i didn't really notice any difference between the halves in my play, although i think they managed better chances.

i'm tempted to replay the game again as it was a bit of an anomaly and i shouldn't have changed to the wet tactic in that situation.

Sunderland are 12 pts clear at the top of the Championship and 15 pts clear of promotion and it's only December! Cheers Crazy, this is a truly great tactic - just waiting for the re-ranking to kick in now...
glad it's working and showing that the home tactic does well away. let me know if you keep on with the good results

was that using the normal away tactic or using the wet away tactic?

i find that crosses are often played to my target man anyway, probably due to him being the target man in the first place. i don't like specifying crosses or similar things as i don't want my players' options limited e.g. my target man is tightly marked but my other ST is in loads of space, i'd want the ball crossed to the other ST.

I ended up winning the league fairly comfortably and collected the league cup too.

My habit of conceding goals put me out of europe. I hammered Bayern in the first leg but only came away with a 3-2 win. I think they had 4 shots on target whereas I had about 12.

Has anyone found defensive stability with this?? I still have Van Der Sar in goal though, would that be a major factor???

Hey Mate.

Thanks for your tactics, after my first try-out, they seem bullet-proof.. Just took over Lyon in 2009, and the first away game against Bordeaux went smooth, 1-3, beautiful.. Cheers

defensive stability is one of the best points about the tactic!

are you using the home and away tactics or just the home tactics? from playing away games with the home tactic, i've scored about the same amount of goals but have also conceded less than when i used the away tactics in away matches.

don't forget to try the wet tactics if the pitch is wet i.e. darker green.

Lau Kjerstein Kristensen: another happy customer. (maybe i should start charging for the download as it's so successful? :p ) keep updating and let me know if it continues working well for you

Thanks Crazy Gra,
This is by far the best tactic so far
for the 7.0.1.

Still going well for me... i'm now 20 games unbeaton with this tactic including putting Cardiff and West Ham out the FA Cup.
Never known a tactic that can walk away with the Championship as easy as this.
