It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

wow, what a compliment. i really didn't expect it to be this good for everyone!

as for away games, i'm going back over the 6 away games that i detailed in my 2nd post in this thread and playing them twice. first time around i'm playing them with my home tactic, then i'll do them again with my home tactic but with passing (team and individual), tempo and width altered to the levels in the current away tactic. give it a try as well if anyone else wants to. i've only played one away game so far with my home tactic, and it seemed to work quite well. i'll hopefully be able to post full results tomorrow.

Which striker is meant to be target man?

the right of the two strikers is the target man, as he is a little more defensive so that he can set up the other ST (who is preferably a quick ST) and the wingers.

that's very good, as my tactic isn't fantastic at bagging loads of goals a game but still gets 2 or 3 a game. it's better at keeping clean sheets, so i'd be disappointed if you didn't win now

I am using the away tattic with few twics, I paly Napoli Serie B and I had quiet good resoult with it: payed 14 W 11 D2 L1 .

I didnt try to implement fully the home tattic yet bcose i like my defence to be strong but I will givbe it a try soon.

excellent results, what tweaks did you make to the away tactic?

you should use the home tactic at home (and possibly away now from from i've been testing!) as i managed quite a lot of clean sheets with the home tactic at home, but wasn't so successful in keeping clean sheets when using the away tactic in away games.

Important Note

yet another thing i forgot to mention was that the right of the two MCs is the defensive midfielder and the left of the two MCs is the attacking one. i like the MCd to get forward anyway, so it helps to have a midfielder who can defend and attack well. playing as man utd i play carrick there and other midfielders like gerrard or mascherano for example would be most effective i think.

i think i put CD up for the midfielders a notch as one of the last tweaks of the tactics. didn't want to put it up too much so that players are out of position or get passed around them, though.
