my friend managed peterborough. in his first season he conceded 15 goals (2 at home and 7 of the 15 were pens) and finished with 113 Points!

should I believe him? sounds pretty good if true! thoughts?

im gonna get a screeny emailed to me he said. still, does it sound possible? 8 goals from open play in the league? anyone else managed to do this? 2 goals at home for the season!

If he set his starting reputation to 'International Footballer' and then managed to bring in a whole new team on the cheap that were almost all above the standard of that league and he got a bit of luck then it might be possible. He might have also got a parent club and loaned most of their reserves.

Could be the case.

I had "International" as my startup with a Hyde United save. Managed to get Manchester United as parent club, then loaned in about 14 reserve and youth players. In this save, my team conceded only 2 league goals. The shocking thing was 1 or the 2 was a 1-0 away defeat to Barrow - figure that one out heh.

You can make the game easier at lower levels by setting reputation high from the offset, get better afilliate deals, better signings, staff, etc...

I think the OP should ask his mate what settings he used too. :thup:

It CAN be done through the directories. However, why anyone would want to do so is beyond me.

Editing or cheating is one thing, "breaking" the game if you like, seems pretty pointless and I think you would soon get bored of facing the same tactic every game.

Would also add that tampering with stuff like that in the directories, then it making the game fail to work at some point and crashing, well, then that would be the users fault and hopefully they would'nt come crying on the forums heh!
