Poor Jewell

I am finding this so exasperating, I do not have particularly aggressive players and most of the time my tactics selections are 'normal' from top to bottom. Is there something I can do to avoid so many being disallowed? The same thing happens with headers from free kicks too.
I am managing Derby and they can't afford to have so many taken away.

when I check for updates it keeps detecting there is one available but then tells me to come back later to try to download. I am on Vista, maybe it doesn;t like that?

Its just another bug, don't worry about it.

- This needs to be fixed.
-So does the 17 second goals if you pick the wrong teamtalk.
-So does the amount of chances created
-So does the amount of 1 on 1s missed
-So does the ridiculous amount of goals

8.01 is as bad as it could ever get. Hopefully they are going to test 8.02 properly.

I think you may be overstating it a bit, morgantjg, although it does seem that 8.0.1 created more problems than it resolved. Then again, the fixture cancellation problem was almost unbearable.

I think what morgantjg said resonates very loudly. This can be a very enjoyable game but it is totally ruined by some extremely tedious flaws.
I just played 6 matches managing derby (all lost) and in one half of one game had FIVE goals from corners disallowed and then I went one nil down because my player decided to try a 50 yard throw in back towards my goal when all his teammates were ready for an attacking throw (that particularly annoying bit of matchplay happens ALL the time).

I suppose they must be, how do I stop them doing it? :o)
My opponents only get about 1 in 6 goals disallowed so that is why it grates so much.

I just took the 8.0.1 patch and the game seems even MORE stupid now. I just watched two completely open goals missed - in front of an unguarded net, ball at feet, no keeper, and no defenders within 6 yards.
