I am playing West Ham with a mate in a network game ( he is spurs ). I am going into Jan of 1st season and am in the lookout for a solid quality DC as Upson is wanting to leave.

Any ideas??? I have 5m to spend

Corluka as your main signing - about £1.2m-£1.5m. Or Cahais, if you can get a work permit. Backup player consider Billy Jones from Crewe - not the most consistent but less than 1M and can play midfield or anywhere at the back.

Also, try scouting Scotland - got David Lilley for 140k for Leeds, and he was great in the Championship; a flat 7.00 rating in the Prem after 6 games so far. Prob more of a backup.

Try Vanden Borre from Anderlecht, should be able to buy him for less than £5m :thup:

Curtis Davis is good just done a season with Man City and he was my best rated player 7.29

Cahais has always been brilliant for me. also his team mate Andres Gallego too
maybe Arturo Vidal aswell, dead cheap but a great performer for me.
