Just finishd the first season. Had a bad run in Feb. and March - dropped to 5th 8 points behind 2nd. But a great run of 9 unbeaten 6 wins and 3 draws got me back to second with 2 games to go. Level with Genoa on points but ahead on goal diff. Played Triestena in last game - a little nervy. A couple of my best players were on international duty. But Naismith hit a first half hat trick. And all is good... promoted with Juve.

I promoted as champions to Seria A in first season. I hoped that Juventus would stay down, and it lokked good as i beated them 2-1 with 8 matches back and they were number 4.
The only bad thing was that they won the last 8games, just as i did. And now they are number 4, but i am number 3 :d
Are having Inter now and i have no chance.
My buys are: Kevin Larsen, Igor Tudor(Free), Felipe,Skjelbred(Free), and i have Bendtner and Slavkovski on loan.
Also i got alot of promising youngster, especialy strikers

Now in Season 2. Going great - half way through season lying 3rd. 1 point behind Milan and Inter. Got Soldado and Borriello for free. Digard is great now. Got a couple of DM's - Romero (uruguyan) is doing well. Got Halmosi and Barragan also. Golanski, Larsen, Bucchi, De Zerbi, Cannavaro and Mihelic proving they can play with the big boys. Costil having spent much of last year on the bench has been thrown in and looks quality. But not sure how long this will last. Dall Bona, Pia, Ljubliankic seem to struggle although I have probably not given them a fair crack. Although no need to as the team keeps winning.

Just about to Start my second season with Napoli. We're in Serie A. Have signed some experienced heads during the summer in Woodgate (for free!) Fiore (also free) and Kanoute (1.5mill). Also signed Alessandro Budel and Terry Dixon (on loan).

Im hoping Marinelli can make the step up to Serie A as he was brilliant in B, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the Living legend of Roberto Sosa (how has no-one mentioned this guy!) can keep scoring and creating as the teams Target man.

The youngsters I bought in in my the first season are:
Jan Polak 220k
Diego Buonanote 250k
James McCarthy 55k
Ross Hepburn 90k
Kevin Constant 200k

So I'm hopeful these guys can do well out on loan the feeder clubs.

5 games to go in Season 2. We lie 3rd in Serie A behind Inter and AC. Ten points behind but that is to be expected. Somehow the team kept going even after Bucchi and De Zerbi got injured. Both missed a couple of months of the season. We dropped to 8th at one point but since Bucchi came back we can't lose. Hopefully we can win a Champions League spot. Players that have done well: Costil, Barragan, Golanski, Cannavaro, Legrottaglia, Esparza, Romero, Mihelic, de Zerbi, Bucchi, Soldado, Larsen.

Looking to bring in a world class central midfielder and central defender next season. Anyone have any recommendations for EU players.

Per Mertesacker who plays for Bremen is good.

Mertesecker went to someone already but will double check.

Finished 3rd in Serie A - quite amazed actually - last three games - beat Parma away 2-1 they were 4th. Drew with Roma at home 2-2 (gave up a goal in the last minute) they were 5th, and beat Chievo 2-0 to stay ahead of Roma.

End of season - turned down 15M for Esparza, 3.5 for Costil,

Got another young Slovenian striker - can't remember his name but he was free.

But I need to strengthen for Champion League. Would like to get a really good AMC. Mihelic can't dribble and I don't really get the feeling he will be able to play witht he big boys. Good role players though and does well.
