Im Liverpool just about to start 4th season. I am trying to get to the situation where I have 2 quality players for each position.
I have Rosina as my first choice AMR and he has been superb but last season, Babel injured his cruciate ligaments and was out for 8 months!! (longest injury I've experienced on FM), so I brough Torje out of the reserves and he ended up playing quite a few games.
He was pretty good - not at Rosina's standard but maybe as good as Babel. Anyway, I'm now in a situation where I have 3 AMR's in the team and I think I should sell one as I don't like having too big a squad.
Can anybody let me know, from experience, who is better out of the 2? Also is Babel injury prone or was I just unlucky?
Another option is to put Torje back in the reserves for a season but I'm not sure he'd be happy with this.
Ideally, sell both and buy Belluschi. He'll probably push Rosina all the way for a starting spot.
Out of the two, I dont have much experience with Torje, but if both are performing the same, I'd sell the one who fetches me the better price. I'm guessing that'll be Babel.
sell neither send one of them out on loan....basically they are 2 very good players and its going to be a hard choice which one to send. personally id send babel away on loan for the season with an option to recall

i gather you are only selling one to reduce your squad not for the money am i right?
The money would be nice but don't really need to buy any more players at the moment - will need another DC soon though as don't think Carra will have too long left at the top.
Will consider loaning one out I think and see what the performances are like this season.
Would Torje and Babel be willing to go out on loan in the third season? Babel always seems a bit temperamental and if I set his status as 'available for loan', wouldn't his morale be poor?
Put his status on "available for loan" but dont press continue. Immediately after you do that, go to his profile and see what the message is in the "general happiness" area. If it says "looking to gain first team experience going out on loan" then you're fine. If it says "thinks he's too good to be going out on loan" or "doesnt see what he'll gain by going out on loan" then immediately change his status back to unavailable for loan or no status set. This wont affect his morale either.
