i have him playing in cm, just in front of a dm, and with two wingers! but i cant seem to get him involved in the play, i do like to play with width! but any tips on how to get more out of him?

in previous games i've done with arsenal, have him in the same position, set him to be your playmaker and set his forward runs to either mixed or rarely. CM in the game don't get the best ratings but he does a solid job and rarely gets below a 7.
however, in a new arsenal game, i decided to use a new tactic, im retraining him to AMC and he's peforming very well.

I have him on forward runs and through balls with a farrow to the AMC position and he can't be stopped. Normal mentality and creativity.
