Try to bring in Bendtner and Walcott on loan (or any backup strikers at big clubs e.g. Pizarro).
Buy Bodgan Stancu - £200k - and play him as much as you can - he may take a while to settle and won't reach his best until season 3 but you'll still get plenty of goals.
Buy Charles Andre Doudin - £60k - and play him as a target man as much as you can - like Stancu he's quite away from reaching his potential but can be used effectively.
That should leave you £4.7m to buy someone else - Alan Kardec maybe?

2 Strikers for Less than 5mil altogether. Any suggestions? Post #6
Yeah Stancu will be a great buy for you - if you don't get quick results don't worry, give him time and he'll be great.
As for Cabanas, for £2m he's worth a shot. IIRC he's the Paraguayan and is in his mid-late 20's, but has great stats? If he's the one I'm thinking of he turned out really good for Everton in my Nottm Forest game.

Cabanas is definately worth a shot, he's pure class, certainly much better than Walcott unless your formation is nothing but "hoof ball to pacy striker". Fonseca is alright but from what I've seen of him in the prem he's not amazing. Good backup in himself, but not very good at doing anything on the end of a cross. I'd say Cabanas/Stancu shouldn't cost you more than 4 mil together even if you wait a bit, and they're both prem quality.

Mika Aaritalo, he can play Up front or on left and right of midfield. Will cost between £600,000 and £1 million but is worth £13,750,000 after 2 seasons.
