I play in the same vien as Merk. Give each and every player a chance to perform in the pre-season friendlies, regardless of his stats. There always seems to be a player with poor stats who plays his socks off week in/week out, and for the life of you, you can't work out why. These players I guess must have high hidden stats.

Classic example I had from CM3 days was a 18y old striker who had low single figures accross the board, yet every time he played he nearly always got on the scoresheet.

Yep, stats will always give you some inkling of which players may be worth a shot, but I'll always believe what my eyes tell me over what the numbers say.

Like real life, some players look great in training, but it doesn't translate to form in actual matches, some players don't have a great deal of obvious talent (!) but make the most of their strengths.

Nah it doesnt really matter who i play because the result is always the same. CM has this horrible habit of making the opponents score more goals than me in more or less every game.

Yes, he would be quite a player. Strength of the bear, speed of the puma. Good combo.

Sorry it has to be said but who the hell is Paul? I can see why Luke could be mistaken for paul though. Very easy mistake to make. :thup:
