I'm waiting for CM 03/04 before I get into LLM as I know of too many problems with CM4. However, I was wondering about how you do your research for a team that you pick. Obviously you can look at all the numbers and figures, but it isn't really like supporting a team and knowing who does what and how good they actually are. For instance, I support Man U (please no jibes), and I know never to trust the Local Cuisine or Drink the Water etc etc and who is good in what situations.
So as LLM's do you use club websites to find out info other than just the normal stats. If so, do you know of any good resources? Because when I choose a new team I know absolutely nothing about them.
Thanks for your guidance
Rob

Use that link to search for the club you're thinking of being. Usually only one factor comes into it when i am picking a team. The team must have decent colours. If i find the colours look terrible, i just can't get motivated to manage them.
If their name upsets me, I can never be them. For instance, I can never manage Doncaster because I don't like them. Especially so for Port Vale when they get relegated.
I always try and find a web site of the team I will be managing as it just puts you more into the game. I've discovered some wonderous places I would like to visit in RL if I ever get back overseas, and some not so great. One of the team's in Yugoslavia I managed had a big problem with acid rain.
Been searching for a website for FC Honka for days now without any success. Eventually I did find a team photo, and I am confident that the lads will be able to put in a strong showing.
I typically use the random generator, and then I will check out a2000's league guide for the basic info. The only time I went to a team's website, I was playing in the Czech republic, and I couldn't read it...
