Sorry about the double posting and back on topic. I found that subscribing to the possible internet newsletter of the club is a perfect way to get to know the team. The conference sides and other smaller teams in Europe have suprisengly active fanbases in internet, so I suggest you check out what they have to offer.
As a foreigner to the british leagues the actual team news and vibes are more important to me than the figures or the ever changing cm-stats of the teams and I guarantee that the newsletters from the smaller teams will make you get to know them better.
