What bollocks. As if Olimpia of Paraguay can be deemed better than Manchester United, Inter Milan, Liverpool et al.

And Burton Brewers... what a team! Ultimate in LLM surely! But I question that as well, as the fifth level on the English league pyramid is the Conference... West Mids North One or whatever it was must surely be somewhere around level 10. And I've never even heard of a City of Stoke side... Surely after living here for 22 years, I would have known of them!

the league pyramid not the league system, conference is one above, or is the top level of, the pyramid. its called the pyramid because as you go down levels theres more divisions, like how a pyramid has more bricks.

Wasn't it that they counted the number of teams that had won 50% or greater titles compared to the most successful. And presumably in the case of Germany that rules every out besides Bayern?

I suggest you check your stats, pal. Actually, South American teams have won the Intercontinental Cup 21 times, agaist 20 from European sides.

You're true, I'm sorry. Since I follow football though, it's 10-5 for Europe, so that's why I had this feeling.

Bayern won 18 German championships, while Nuremburg won it 9 times, which is 50%, isn't it?

btw, even an Austrian team won the German championship once (Rapid Vienna)
